Physicians East is proud to announce that Anna Starkey will now be assisting patients as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner in our Internal Medicine Department at our Arlington office. A native of Greenville, Anna received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Nursing from UNC Chapel Hill. After graduation, Anna worked for two years as a surgical RN in New Orleans. She returned to eastern North Carolina as a Cardiac Intensive Care RN at Vidant before joining the team at Physicians East. Anna is a certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner as well as a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and their 15-month old son, gardening, playing violin and running.
