The dermatologists at Physicians East are highly-trained and board-certified in the medical, surgical and cosmetic care of the skin. In addition to being some of the most well respected and caring dermatologists in eastern North Carolina, our dermatologists are also a great resource for learning how to prevent skin, hair, and nail concerns. They can teach you how to protect yourself from the sun to avoid skin cancer, caution you about hairstyles that can contribute to hair loss, and advise you on how to care for your nails to prevent common conditions such as nail fungus. They can spot potential problems and diagnose a multitude of conditions that range from minor to life-threatening.

Common Dermatological Conditions:

The dermatology department, located at the Main Campus on Arlington Boulevard in Greenville, NC, treats a wide range of dermatological conditions ranging from common to complex and acute to chronic. Some of the conditions include acne, rosacea, psoriasis, plant and insect reactions and basal skin cancer. To schedule an appointment with either one of our dermatologists, simply contact our office. In many cases, insurance does not require a referral. However, your provider may refer you to a dermatologist if he or she notices something before you do.
